The Unmarked Stall
You were not directed here. You did not read this. You are not buying anything.

The Sand Court does not operate a black market. There is no stall. There is no inventory. If someone told you otherwise, they were mistaken, and you should stop asking around. What follows is a catalog of items that do not exist, available through channels that have not been established, sold by people whose names you do not know. Gil only. No credit. No refunds. No one to complain to.

Stock rotates. Prices are final. If an item is listed as one of a kind, it is one of a kind. Do not ask if more are coming.

Black Market ✦ Aether Suppression

A plain copper ring engraved with suppression glyphs so fine they look like decoration. Worn, it dampens the user's aetheric signature to near-undetectable levels. Favored by deserters, wanted mages, and anyone who would rather not show up on a Conjurers' Guild sweep, a Wood Wailer patrol, or worse. The Sand Court does not ask why you need it. The Sand Court does not want to know.

"It won't make you invisible. It'll just make you forgettable."

Black Market ✦ Aether Suppression

A strip of cured leather treated with voidsent-derived resin, worn as a bracelet or wound around the wrist. It does not suppress the wearer's aether. It does something more useful: it masks the scent of void corruption on a person, an object, or a wound. Essential for anyone transporting void-touched goods through city gates, dealing with tainted clients, or simply trying to avoid the kind of attention that ends with an inquisitor at your door. Available in quantity. No bulk discount.

"Smells faintly of ash. Better than the alternative."

Stolen Military Equipment ✦ One Unit Available

A monocular scope stripped from imperial recon gear, mechanically intact and freshly recalibrated. Magnifies at a range most civilian optics cannot match and filters heat signatures in low-light conditions, a feature the Empire did not intend to share with the general public. No identifying marks remain. The previous owner is not in a position to file a report. Useful for scouts, bounty hunters, snipers, and anyone who needs to know what is happening on the other side of a wall before they commit to a decision. More may follow depending on supply lines the Sand Court prefers not to specify.

"See further. Know sooner. Act accordingly."

Sharlayan Restricted ✦ One of a Kind ✦ Final Sale

A thumbnail-sized sliver of pale blue mineral found exclusively in Sharlayan excavation sites and never once cleared for export. Scholars use it to stabilize fragmented memories during aetheric reconstruction procedures, the kind performed on patients with severe trauma, voidsent interference, or forced memory alteration. Ground into powder and dissolved, it can be administered to surface memories buried under stress, coercion, or magical suppression. Used carefully, it gives back what someone took from you. Used without care, it gives back everything at once, including the parts you buried on purpose.

"Sharlayan keeps it locked up for a reason. Make of that what you will."

Void-Touched Spoil ✦ Isles of Umbra ✦ One of a Kind

Recovered from the Isles of Umbra during a Sand Court operation. The creature inside is alive. Researchers believe these beings are distant kin to imps, drawn to cramped, lightless spaces and the remnants of civilizations they outlived. This one was found in the ruins, still inside its container, still waiting. The void has a long memory. The pot contains it. What you do with both of those facts is your business. A capable handler can compel the creature to service. The Court recommends knowing what you are doing before you open it.

"It hasn't tried to get out. We think it's waiting for someone to invite it."

Amdapori Relic ✦ Recovered from the Shroud ✦ One of a Kind

One of three mage stones that once animated Kuribu, a living statue recovered from the ruins of Amdapor during a Sand Court operation conducted at Padjal request. The Padjal want this back. They have not gotten it back yet. A single stone in the hands of a capable arcanist is enough to animate a human-sized or larger construct, sufficient to guard a settlement, seal a location, or answer a question about what Amdapor was building before it fell. The Court is selling it. The Padjal will pay well to recover it. Whether the buyer keeps it or returns it for that reward is entirely their own calculation to make.

"The Padjal called it a relic. The Court calls it leverage. Same stone either way."

About This Operation

Yucca Al'Sahra and Bastian Caldeth

// The Sand Court ✦ Ul'dah, Thanalan

The Unmarked Stall is a Sand Court operation. It appears at select markets, pop-up events, and locations the Court decides not to publicize in advance. It does not have a permanent address. It does not take advance orders. It does not have a waiting list.

Yucca Al'Sahra runs the stall when it is open. She sources the inventory, sets the prices, and determines what goes on the board on any given night. She does not negotiate. She does not do favors. She has heard every story you are thinking of telling her and is not moved by any of them.

Bastian Caldeth is present when he needs to be. If you see him at the stall and not Yucca, the answer to whatever you were about to ask is no.

The Sand Court is a revolutionary outfit operating out of Thanalan. The stall is one of several ways it funds the work. You do not need to know what the work is.
